Customizable columns
Configure your case and client lists exactly the way your team works: change labels, show or hide fields, set size and required rules, and move fields between tabs. Grid layouts save automatically, so it's exactly how you left it next time
Access restriction
Assign cases to individual team members. Staff can be restricted to only their own caseload, given visibility into everything, or set to Read Only so they can view without making changes
Custom fields
Call a field whatever makes sense for your team — case number, client ID, docket number, anything. We've also added extra text, date, currency, and number fields you can label and use however you need, and it updates everywhere automatically.

Emails can get lost, so use BeornNotes' internal messaging system so nothing will ever get lost. Similar to email with inbox, sent items, multiple recipients, etc. Each team member can decide if they want to receive one email each night if they have unread messages. Totally up to them
Tags
Add, edit, and remove tags to organize cases and clients your way. Tag something as New, Urgent, Pro Bono, or anything else that fits how your team works
Add an External ID for Any Case or Client
If desired, any case or client can have an external ID assigned to it. You can decide if it needs to be required, unique, even its minimum and maximum length. This can be a case number, account number, anything you want, and since you can change the field's name to whatever you want, you can make it meaningful to the team, so they don't have to remember that "External ID" really means Case# or Account#

HIPAA Status
BeornNotes is NOT HIPAA compliant. Our servers are secure, and so is your data, but we have not yet attempted to get HIPAA certification. This may happen in the future, but for now please refrain from putting PHI data into BeornNotes

Team collaboration
Enable your entire team to collaborate in real-time on BeornNotes. Users can even temporarily change their timezone as needed if traveling so they see date/times in their timezone. Each user can also set a permanent timezone for viewing date/times

BeornNotes is designed to be easy to use, but many more advanced features can be enabled, if desired
Calling Center Capabilities, if desired
If desired, the main case grid can be changed to act like a calling center would. For example, if two users are working on the same set of cases, if one user clicks to edit a specific case, that record is locked while that user works on it, so no other user can accidentally try to edit that record. On the grid, that locked case is also grayed out for visual reference to other users. Once updated or cancelled, that case can be accessed by others
Live Grid updates, if desired
If desired, when one user updates a record, other users viewing the same case grid can see that change appear automatically, without needing to refresh
Support and Support Tickets
BeornNotes has a built in Support Ticketing system. Feel free to send any questions, issues, and/or suggestions to our Support Team while inside BeornNotes, and we'll answer you back within 24 hours, generally much quicker. This will be a human answering you back, not AI
