Refund & Cancellation Policy

Free Trial

Every new account starts with a 14-day free trial. No payment details are required to begin, and the trial does not convert into a paid subscription automatically. When the trial ends, the account simply pauses until you choose to subscribe. You will never be charged without deciding to be.

Subscriptions and Automatic Renewal

Paid subscriptions are billed in advance per user, on the interval you choose: monthly or yearly. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period, at the same interval, until you cancel. Payments are processed by Stripe.

Cancelling

You may cancel at any time, yourself, from Billing → Manage subscription inside BeornNotes. No phone call or email is required.

When you cancel, your subscription remains active until the end of the period you have already paid for, and you keep full access until then. It simply does not renew.

Refunds

Because every account can use the complete product free for 14 days before paying, payments are non-refundable and we do not provide partial refunds for unused time in a billing period.

We may issue a refund at our discretion in exceptional circumstances. If something has gone wrong, please contact us before disputing a charge — we would much rather resolve it directly.

Changing Seats

You may add seats at any time; additional seats are charged from the date they are added. Reducing seats takes effect at your next renewal rather than immediately.

Price Changes

If we change the price of a subscription, we will tell you before the change applies to your renewal, so you can cancel first if you prefer.

Your Data

Cancelling does not delete your information straight away. You may request an export of your data, or ask us to delete it, at any time before or after cancelling. See our Privacy Policy for details.
